Transfer of Credit

Community college courses may not transfer into TAMUCT as upper-division courses (3000-4000 level), even though

TAMUCT may have an upper-division course with exactly the same name and description. Community college courses

may not be used to fulfill the upper-division requirement for graduation at TAMUCT. However, the course may be used

as a substitute for an upper-division course with an approved substitution form signed by the chair and dean.

later may be subject to a higher tuition rate for attempting excessive hours at any public institution of higher education
